Awards convocation honors Connor Fuhrman

Commencement season at The Citadel is a time to celebrate student achievements in academics, leadership and service. At the South Carolina Corps of Cadets Awards Convocation Thursday, May 3, 50 awards were presented to cadets and active duty students in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

Connor Fuhrman of Spillwood, Texas was presented the Peter Gaillard Memorial Award . The Peter Gaillard Memorial Award recognizes an exceptional electrical and computer engineering senior cadet based on scholastic attainment, leadership and participation in extracurricular activities. The award is presented in memory of an outstanding 1948 graduate of The Citadel’s electrical engineering department.
