Briggs Smith named as summer 2018 Star of the West scholarship recipient

Briggs Smith of North Augusta, South Carolina (29860) is one of 11 Citadel students receiving the summer 2018 Star of the West scholarship.

Smith will be using the scholarship to travel to Costa Rica.

The Star of the West scholarship grants up to $7,500 to cadets, undergraduate veteran students and evening undergraduate students for the opportunity to study abroad, expand second language skills and experience foreign travel.
