The Society of the Cincinnati of the State of South Carolina presented Cadet Lt. Col. John Cordes of Summerville, SC with the 2018 Citadel Medal. The medal is presented annually to the cadet officer of each graduating class who best combines the qualities of a good soldier and a good citizen characteristics the Society would perpetuate.
