Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Brandon Gettys commissions into U.S. Navy

Citadel Class of 2015 graduate, Brandon Gettys of Titusville , New Jersey, has commissioned into the U.S. Navy.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Gettys was commissioned during a ceremony on May 8, 2015.

Gettys received a BA in History during commencement on May 9, 2015.
