Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Brittany Crocker receives The Brigadier General James E. Mace Leadership Award

The Brigadier General James E. Mace Leadership Award is presented to a first class cadet being commissioned in the military who demonstrates outstanding leadership in the day-to-day running of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets. The individual must exhibit unswerving love for The Citadel along with the leadership traits of honor, self-discipline, courage, patriotism, high moral standards, and service to fellow cadets.

This year, the award was presented to Cadet Brittany Crocker, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, at the awards convocation in McAlister Field House. The ceremony was sponsored by Jim Whetstone, Class of 1960, and his wife, Lila. Crocker graduated on May 9th with a B.S. in Biology.
