Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Carson Smith receives The Peter Galliard Memorial Award

The Peter Galliard Memorial Award recognizes an exceptional electrical and computer engineering senior cadet on the basis of scholastic attainment, leadership, and participation in extracurricular activities. It is presented in memory of an outstanding 1948 graduate of The Citadel's electrical engineering department. This year, the award was presented to Carson Smith of Simpsonville, South Carolina, at the awards convocation in McAlister Field House. The ceremony was sponsored by Jim Whetstone, Class of 1960, and his wife, Lila.

Smith graduated on May 9th with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering.
