Citadel Class of 2015 graduate James Nelson commissions into U.S. Army

Citadel Class of 2015 graduate, James Nelson of Massapequa, New York, has commissioned into the U.S. Army.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Nelson was commissioned during a ceremony on May 8, 2015.

Nelson received a BA in Criminal Justice during commencement on May 9, 2015.
