Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Joseph Vanderveldt commissions into U.S. Army

Citadel Class of 2015 graduate, Joseph Vanderveldt of Babylon, New York, has commissioned into the U.S. Army.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Vanderveldt was commissioned during a ceremony on May 8, 2015.

Vanderveldt received a BA in Criminal Justice during commencement on May 9, 2015.
