Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Samuel Long commissions into U.S. Navy

Citadel Class of 2015 graduate, Samuel Long of Charleston, South Carolina, has commissioned into the U.S. Navy.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Long was commissioned during a ceremony on May 8, 2015.

Long received a BS in Physics during commencement on May 9, 2015.
