Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Samuel Long receives The School of Science and Mathematics Outstanding Student Award

The School of Science and Mathematics Outstanding Student Award was created to recognize superior academic achievement by an undergraduate student majoring in one of the school's disciplines. This year, the award was presented to Samuel Long of Charleston, South Carolina, at the awards convocation in McAlister Field House. The ceremony was sponsored by Jim Whetstone, Class of 1960, and his wife, Lila.

Long graduated on May 9th with a BS in Physics.
