Citadel Class of 2015 graduate Savannah Emmrich receives The Wade Hampton Saber Award

The Wade Hampton Saber Award is presented annually by the South Carolina division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, to the member of the first class who is most outstanding in leadership and who makes the greatest contribution to The Citadel while a cadet. The award was presented this year to Class of 2015 member Savannah Emmrich, of Plainfield, IL, at the awards convocation in McAlister Field House. The ceremony was sponsored by Jim Whetstone, Class of 1960, and his wife, Lila.

Emmrich graduated on May 9th with a BA in Criminal Justice.
