Citadel Class of 2016 Cadet Zachariah Salamone receives the The William G. Willard, Jr. Award

The William G. Willard, Jr. Award is presented to a second class cadet who has been selected by the senior cadet leadership for exemplifying the qualities of integrity, devotion to duty, and service to The Citadel. This year, the award was presented to Cadet Zachariah Salamone, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, at the awards convocation in McAlister Field House. The ceremony was sponsored by Jim Whetstone, Class of 1960, and his wife, Lila.

Salamone is pursuing a BA in Criminal Justice.
