Citadel Class of 2016 graduate George Stevenson commissions into U.S. Navy

Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, George Stevenson of Charleston, SC, has commissioned into the U.S. Navy.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Stevenson was commissioned during a ceremony on May 6, 2016.

Stevenson received a B.S. in Civil Engineering during commencement on May 7, 2016.
