Citadel Class of 2016 graduate Joshua Irvin commissions into U.S. Air Force

Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, Joshua Irvin of Charleston, South Carolinahas commissioned into the U.S. Air Force.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Irvin was commissioned during a ceremony on May 6, 2016.

Irvin received a B.S. in Civil Engineering during commencement on May 7, 2016.
