Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, Nicholas Sweat, commissions into U.S. Army

Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, Nicholas Sweat of Tampa, FL, has commissioned into the U.S. Army.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Sweat was commissioned during a ceremony on May 6, 2016.

Sweat received a BA in Political Science/Minor German (International & Military Affairs) during commencement on May 7, 2016.
