Citadel Class of 2016 graduate Patrick Simmons commissions into U.S. Navy

Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, Patrick Simmons of Goose Creek, SC, has commissioned into the U.S. Navy.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Simmons was commissioned during a ceremony on May 6, 2016.

Simmons received a BSCE in Civil Engineering during commencement on May 7, 2016.
