Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, Zachariah Salamone, commissions into U.S. Army

Citadel Class of 2016 graduate, Zachariah Salamone of Simpsonville, South Carolina, has commissioned into the U.S. Army.

Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets and students took oaths accepting their appointments as officers in the U.S. armed services.

Salamone was commissioned during a ceremony on May 6, 2016.

Salamone received a BA in Criminal Justice during commencement on May 7, 2016.
