Citadel Class of 2017 Cadet Angelica McNerny receives The Special Forces Association Award of Excellence

The Special Forces Association Award of Excellence is presented to a freshman or sophomore cadet who is contracted in one of The Citadel ROTC departments, who displays scholastic excellence, military proficiency, leadership qualities, and dedication to mission. This year, the award was presented to a member of the Class of 2017, Cadet Angelica McNerny, of Las Vegas, Nevada, at the awards convocation in McAlister Field House. The ceremony was sponsored by Jim Whetstone, Class of 1960, and his wife, Lila.

McNerny is pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
