Citadel cadet and midshipman, Robert DeCort, competes for 2016 Ship-Handler of the Year

Midshipman 1st Class Robert DeCort, Class of 2017 at the Military College of South Carolina, The Citadel Naval Reserve Officers Corps (NROTC) unit, checks out a gyro compass on a Full Mission Bridge Virtual Reality simulator at the Surface Warfare Officers School. DeCort a native of San Diego, California and Computer Science major is among more than 10 midshipmen from NROTC units across the country who competed to be named the 2016 NROTC Ship-handler of the Year.
