Cyber Defense Team participates in Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition

Thitiphop Phucharoen of Phang-nga, Thailand (82110) was one of nine cadets on The Citadel Cyber Defense Team who competed in the Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition on April 15. The team placed fourth out of eight.

The competition, which took place at Trident Technical College in North Charleston, was part of a three-day event that allowed high school, college and professional teams a chance to develop their skills and network with others in the computer science and cyber-security fields.

The Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition is hosted by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic and the South Carolina Lowcountry Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
