Gregory Smith Earns Leadership Position in the South Carolina Corps of Cadets

Gregory Smith of Fishkill NY, has been selected for a leadership position in the South Carolina Corps of Cadets at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

Commandant of Cadets Col. Leo Mercado, USMC retired, announced the top cadet leadership for the 2011-2012 academic school year. The list includes the regimental commander, the top ranking member of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets, and company and battalion commanders. The student military officers, all of which are seniors, return to campus for leadership training on Aug. 1, 2011.

Smith will hold the cadet rank of Captain as Oscar Company Commander.
